Product summary
Zone: App Blocker & Focus is an iPhone and iPad productivity app by independent developer Vikas Saini. Unlike a timer that only counts down, Zone can restrict selected apps and websites for the duration of a focus session. Optional Strict Mode adds commitment, while Live Activities, Dynamic Island support, and private focus insights help users stay on track without repeatedly reopening the app.

What makes Zone distinct
- The timer and blocker work as one session: choose distractions, choose a duration, then focus.
- Strict Mode adds deliberate friction when a session should not be easy to abandon.
- Apple provides opaque blocking selections, so Zone and its developer cannot see the specific apps or websites selected.
- Live Activities and Dynamic Island keep the countdown visible without inviting another trip through the phone.
